Hi

In my blog website, i have indivdiual blogs for every tournament organizer.  I want to display every tournament organizer's blog page with

different look and field(showing banners, links, titles of corresponding tournament) as if it looks like it is tournament organizer's website.

Any suggestions or solutions. pls reply asap.

Thanks,

Swaminathan,

Web Application Engineer,

Hi Nathan,

you can either:

  1. Use javascr1pt to apply a custom stylesheet based on the querystring (needs developer skills).
  2. Place different instances of the blog module on each personal page, and set the Personal Blog Page setting matching each personal blog, then style each page as you wish (fast and easy).

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Hi Dario,

Can you explain the 2nd option a little more in detail.

I mean i have seperate blog pages for every user which are normally hidden and only corresponding user after logging in can see it.

If i change the skin of those hidden pages, then it is not reflecting when the corresponding user logs in.

At the moment i could only display different links and banners  along with corresponding blog for every blog user by using module permission settings.

Awaiting your suggestion asap.

Thanks,

Swaminathan.

Hi Swaminathan,

if your users have edit permission to the page, you should set the custom skin as the normal and admin skin, so that they will see it even when in edit mode being logged in.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
