development.config uses medium trust, not all providers do support it.

Thanks for all of your help.

How do i get the library source code to show in VS2008.  Do i add it as a project to the solution?

 use source package, edit DotNetNuke_VS2008.sln, to make sure the web site address matches your situation and open this file with VS2008.  you will see source of providers, library and web site. Be aware, that modules have their own solution files, some are web site projects w/o solution file and some are still DNN3, requiring VS2003.
