Since upgrading my DNN to 4.9.3 it has caused the core module of my whole site not to work.

I have already contacted the support for the module,

Can anyone help me resolve this , the issue is to do with access permissions all the users now for some reason do not have the access to the modules. 

does anyone have a method that i can add to the web forms that will give admins or host access rights to the module, i can add a method to the webform but not to the source code as its closed to me. 

I dont know how to give admin or host access rights to modules or i would have a go myself,

Sebastian man, i have been using DNN probably since around version 4 was released so i have had few years working with DNN, i have done nothing unusual. 

I have been steadily upgrading as the releases came out, i had 4.9.1 then upgraded to 4.9.2 and now running 4.9.3

The issue with the permissions on the module is a module specific issue , the module developers are working on the fix , you know the way you can add a bit of code on the web form.

is there a method that will allow admins and host users to modify the module, i dont really want to be waiting for the module developer to get round to this i want get my site launched ive been working on it for months. 
If i can add a method to the web forms giving the permissions it should sort the problem.

The issue with the child portals im still working on, i checked all the child portal folders are their all there.  I created a new child portal and when i went to browse to it again it redirected to the home page. 

Its really draining my energy, normally any upgrade goes fine for years i have been uprgading as the new releases come out.

So no matter if i create a new child portal it does not direct to the child portal even though the folder and files are created.  

I can do without the child portals just not if i can get the piece of code that allows the admin and host to modify a module or control would be extremely helpful.

Your solution could well be a possible work around, ill have a look at it.  I have a few DNN templates created if i move them to the subdomain folder how could i use those templates during the install of the dnn portal

This issue with the permissions, on my website some users have members profile like facebook, or bebo, myspace and they can add modules to their profiles, well when i upgraded to this new framework none of my users can edit their profiles, they cannot add or delete or edit any of their profiles they get a message saying they do not have permissions.

I had a look through all the modules tables to see if a field corresponded to the users permissions on the user profile modules but nothing so it must be in the code and i will have to wait to the module developer solves what ever is the issue, 

I cannot roll back my installation so im trying to push forward with some kind of solution - workaround that allows me to login to the web site as the admin or the host and go to any users profile and edit it.  I have no access to the module source code, so a work around would be to put a method in the .aspx page.
