OS: Windows Web Server 2008

I created a second website in IIS7 called "The Garden", the Bindings|Host Name is "thegarden" (rest of the setting uses the default settings of the Default Website), Basic Settings|Application Pool name is "thegarden" (rest w/the default setting as the Default Website).  Path is pointing to a folder under the Document folder.  "Testing Settings" works fine, DNN PortalAlias as "Http://localhost/thegardentree which is the name of the folder. I also entered another Alias "thegarden".

When I try to view the site using the Host Name "thegarden" I get:

1) Internet Explorer cannot view display the webpage
2) I get a dialog box saying, "IIS Worker Process stopped working and was closed: A problem caused the application to stop working correctly, Windows will notify you if a solution is availiable".

DNN worked fine as a Application under the Default Website, why ist it not working as a Website?

If you use multiple portals within one DNN installation, use only one IIS web site for it and assign multiple host headers to it (in IP association).

Never point multiple web sites to a single DNN installation!

Is this a second DNN installation?  If not, you don't create a second site in IIS, you cretae a new portal in the first DNN site.

Yes it is, The Default Website is still set with it's installed settings.  I really want to use it as the DNN website, but before I did I wanted to test it first under a second website.  I have two registered domain names and I want DNN to be the host for both of them.  So what is the best way to set this up?
