Out of 141 users, one user's status shows they have posted 0 posts when they have actually posted quite a bit. They've also told me they receive a runtime error every time they post. Their messages still post on the forum in spite of the error. This happens from multipe computers. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

This could happened by a known issue where occurs after to do a post to the forum while a session time out

Try this solution:
The user should login to your DNN page, going to “My settings”  and subscribe to all Forums. After he had saved his settings he should try to do a new post. Is it now gone, he can go back to “My settings” and unsubscribe from all Forums.
