I have a jpg of a blank antique piece of paper. I would like to make it into a container.  I can make a fixed width/hieght container using the jpg but I would like to figure out how to make the container expandable. In order to do that I would guess that I have to place fixed static images at each of the four corners and then crop a section of the jpg that could be repeated for the middles of each side and center of the container???  Would anybody have any ideas of how to do this or better yet have some code they could share so I can see how to do it?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Greg

Hi Greg

I think we've done something similar to this with our containers on the right side of a sample site we have - www.hnicholsons.co.uk.

It's with 3 divs using CSS to place the images as a background with only the center piece repeated.  Is that the sort of thing you were thinking?  I know a different design but if it is the same effect, I can email you the container file so you can see and change it around.

Cheers

David

Hi Greg

I sent it over first thing Monday morning.  Wondered why I hadn't heard back and after emailing you just now to check I've received a message to say we're blocked by your mail server (blacklisted).  Any way you can have that removed?

Cheers

David

Wondered why I hadn't heard from you!

I wonder why your email is blacklisted by a national broadband provider??  I use earthlink which is a national reseller for Time Warner Cable's RoadRunner broadband service.

I'll email you with another address.
