Hi all,

i am newbie in blog world and I wish try to understand how blogs works in some circumstances. I read a lot of Blogs for my works and i wish to start my blog with the standard dnn module.
Is there a way to publish entry on other blogs into my blog without copy and paste text and image, including obviously the source of info ?
Is this supported in standard blog module ? Is it legal (specifiyng the source of entry).
I read the dotnetnukeblogs.com and it's a blog entries concentrator. I wish to to something like that.

Thanks,
Sandro De Matteis

Hi Sandro,

from my understanding of your needs, you do not need the core mdoule Blog to do this. You'd better use an RSS feed aggregator to gather all contents from your selected sources and display it on your wesite as a content directory. This is what the wonderful dotnetnukeblogs.com does: it checks the subscribers' blogs for new entries and displays them to the readers. The core module Blog is the right solution if you want to publish your own content, it has no built-in feature to aggregate external source data.

Lastly, I think that this doesn't violates any copyright as far as any content is directly linked to its source. Your content aggregator should work as a 'showcase', unless specifically permitted by the content editor.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
