Hello and good day to everyone,

I come to you once again with a slightly mind boggling question.

I am a total begginer with DNN and am currently trying to finish my first build.

My last hurdle for deployment of the site is to rename the whole thing so that the internal users can access it through the address localhost/portal instead of localhost/dotnetnuke. I have set portal aliases on the admin tab for site settings, but everytime i access the site through the alias it doesn't display the site.

What are the possible solutions to this?

you need to rename the virtual directory in IIS web site configuration as well.

Or the physical folder if it's not a virtual folder...  :)
