I am having problems trying to use my Yahoo Email Account for the Host > SMTP Server Settings. Every time I test it I get some sort of error. Can someone please tell me what fields I need to fill in in the host settings for that section and what the SMTP Server and port is (just to make sure I have it right). Thanks a bunch!

I am not sure, whether Yahoo mail supports relaying, usually you should use a mail server by yourself or your hosting provider.

if you are not using a hosting provider but instead have installed the dotnetnuke on your own machine then the ISP where you have got your IPnr from can give you a proper smtp server adress for you ....

I agree it is best to have your own mail server or to relay through your ISP, but I have been successful in using Gmail for SMTP.

For server name your use "smtp.gmail.com:465"

Select "Use SSL"

Put in your gmail username and password.

According to this article, you can use Yahoo SMTP if you are paying them so I am guessing you could use Yahoo SMTP in DNN
