Hey guys, You can see by the question that I am new to DNN. Reading the docs on the forum install and it is asking me to click on settings on the solpart action menu which will take me to the module settings. I searched and searched for what the solpart action menu is and didnt have any luck. After some frustration here, I am hoping that someone can explain or point me in the right direction here. I looked through the forums, online help, and the zip docs which were installed. I'm hoping someone could help me out here and could provide a link to a doc which might help out with beginner questions like this. Thanks,Tim

Tim, the SolPart ACTIONS menu is a module control menu. It only shows up when you are logged in as Admin or Host, and it's traditionally placed just to the left of a module's title. It appears as a little triangle thingy. When you hover the mouse over it, a menu shows up with options for that module.

Welcome to DNN!

Hi Sam, Thanks for the reply. I will check this out tonight. I'm at work now. Just to make sure I have things straight....I downloaded and installed the forums module. I added this module to a page. You mentioned that it is a module control menu. How do I get the module open? I see the page menu items at the top of the page, but nothing related to menu items for a module. Still a bit confused.
