Hello,

One simple question : Why Tabs and Content title can't be localized by default in dotnetnuke ???
In all 5 versions, this feature was not discussed or planned. It's a basic feature for a CMS (for me)
Solutions exists, but why install magic content, install ealo, configure that, configure this, oh ! this works only on 4.xx, this works on 3.xx
Put it by default in 6 version, maybe 5, I will be happy and other 99% users/developpers too.

When adding a page/tab, you could add the tabs with languages as in magic content :
en-US
Page name :
Title :
Keywords :

fr-CH
Page name :
Title :
Keywords :

same structure for content properties...

And the best of the best solutions :
All parameters, roles, options, etc. are language specific in a page/tab :-)

It's difficult for me and others too to explain to users the needs to use Ealo or Magic Content for localization.
The natural reaction of my users : " Why it's not implemented in the creation of the page, it's not user-friendly pfff ?"

I hope that a user-friendly solution will be implemented by default in our best CMS :-)
I can contribute too...

DotNetNuke Corp. did put Content Localization on the agenda for DotNetNuke Cambrian, which is the code name for a series of releases starting with DNN 5.0.
