  Good morning everyone!

        I have added a DNN forum to our intranet website and I love the look and feel of it. I also like the integrated moderation capability. I am having an issue with attaching files to a forum post. Does anyone have a best practices type of solution for these files going streight to the root of my portal? My other concern is security. Is there a best practices guidline specifically for DNN forums in conjunction with the server they are hosted on? I know this is broad and I will be more then happy to answer any questions anyone may have. Thank you for your help in advance!

The most issue with uploading atteched files comes by forget to set upload permissions to the roles that sould have upload rights.  You can set this via the File Manager on the folders where you like give upload permissions to roles.

A user manual is frree availible, with some little differents (it's for version 4.4.4) from the Project Downloadpage you can found if you lick on the big FORGE button on the top.

Thank you for the advice! It appears that the documentation hasn't been release yet, is that correct? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

The manual is released-  Go to Forge --  Project Forums (in quick links down on left site) -- Project Downloads .  I haven't yert the link to post you, but you can search this forum by searching  to "manual" .  I have post the link several times in this forum.
