I have been working on a site for some time now and have it near completion. Suddenly today I am unable to edit any new modules. I can edit existing modules. I can add new items to existing modules (for example a links modules) but if I add a new module I am unable to edit it or add its items. It has happened with several module types. I first thought it was only documents, but since learned I can add any module type, but cannot edit it. When I try to run the update or save an item it says there was a foreign key conflict:

Error: Edit Text/HTML is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: INSERT statement conflicted with COLUMN FOREIGN KEY constraint 'FK_HtmlText_Modules'. The conflict occurred in database 'DB_36566', table 'Modules', column 'ModuleID'. The statement has been terminated. --->

Any clues?

The mystery was solved. I overlooked the SQL Connection string for legacy modules. It was set to a different database than the main query string. For some reason it worked fine fro a while, then decided text and link modules were "legacy" and started writing to the other database which caused the foreign key conflicts. So it was my own mistake.
