I used to be a big fan of WebHost4Life, but lately, I have become disillusioned.

1) They seem to have regular routing issues that affect server performance.
2) They have never-- in two years -- notified me of a known performance issue until after I raise it with them, then their reply is "our engineers are aware of the problem and working on it".
3) Their mailservers regulary get listed in SPEWS. Yes, I know SPEWS is a somewhat disreputable blacklist, but a lot of people use them.
4) They keep chaning the mailserver admin software-- i have 4 clients on WH4L, 4 separate software installs for mail server software.

Overrall, I'd recommend against.

My DotNetNuke portal running on WebHost4Life is getting hit by SPEWS rejects when users join. Does anyone have a work around for this?

I also use WebHost4Life, and would recommend elsewhere. Recently the server I'm on is constantly going down. At one point it was down for 12 hours a day for 2 days! Reasons were from another client's process taking the server down, to hard drive failure (twice in one week). WH4L USED to be pretty stable for the money. :(

I have hosted a Dnn 3.x site with ORCS Web (orcsweb.com) for over a year with no problems.  I also host an older asp ecommerce site with them and a plain html site too.  Back when I was given a month notice by another hosting provider to move the asp ecommerce site (the host was switching to linux), ORCS was the only provider that would setup some of the special requirements that I desired.

Support by email has always been prompt and helpful and they don't make me feel bad when I ask the occasional stupid question.  I've been with them for about five years now and have experienced very few problems.  They recently changed the structure of the shared hosting packages which may prove to be less attractive for hosting simple sites.  I certainly would rate them as being worthy of consideration.
