There seems to be a bug in the native DNN url control that is apparent when more than one of these controls are placed on the same page. If I do a file upload on first control, everything is fine until I click "upload file" on the second control. Doing so will reset the first controls file selection in the drop-down.

Has anyone encountered this?

I have been searching for the codebehind to help narrow in on this problem, but I can't seem to locate urlcontrol.ascx.vb. I've also searched through several source packages to no avail. Any help would be appriciated!

I'm not sure this is a bug, wouldn't it occur anytime the page is postedback by another object?

When testing postback via other controls, the second url control's selection is remembered, but the first is reset.

Both selections should be remembered in the event of a postback, correct? This seems like a bug to me.

Any other input? I would like more discussion on if this is a bug or not.

I would at least like some input on where I can find urlcontrol.ascx.vb

Thanks!

there is no problem IN URL control, the URL control IS as problem (in terms of UX)

However there is not really a bug: IF you select a file for upload you need to hit upload before you continue. This stores the file on the server and allows to continue with the form. If you need to prepare for cancel of the form and delete the file, use a temporary location you are going to clean up before you quit.
