Dear All,

I read the threads above that you have issues with opening .pdf files from the links (links in HTML/ Links Module) and error mentioned is permission error, or opening different windows. I just installed the DNN 4.9 and using the Links module to open a .pdf file in a new window. link open the new window but it comes as blank. i tried the link for .gif file and it works fine. I tried creating and having the file in the new folder, also tried in root folder, still not working. i am using the standard-file-system in file manager.

could anyone tell me how to overcome this problem.

Many thanks in advance.

Nauman

Hi,

I'm fairly sure: this is an issue with the Adobe Acrobat (Reader) and not a DNN problem. Could you check Acrobat settings.

Best,

I have the same problem.  I don't have a solution.  I am here seeking one.  When linking to a PDF, I get a blank screen it has something to do with Link Click.  If I put the full URL in the link it works fine.

Dan
