Hello

I have installed the survey module in my website.
Now that it's running I see that the sum of the percentage is 101%:

1) 87
2) 7
3) 7
4) 0

Do you know how i can fix this? I have expirience in dnn module development.
I tried to look in the code - But I couldn't find what to change so It'll display the decimal point.

Thank you very much
Benny

Benny,

I assume this is caused by rounding, e.g. if

1) 86.6
2) 6.7
3) 6.7

I thought about it, but I couldn't find the function who is responsible in the code.
Can you direct me?

Is there a better way to fix it? Maybe using templates?

Thank you!
Benny

check out Survey.ascx.vb, line 401 (in Private Sub lstResults.ItemDataBould):

StrSurveyResultTemplate = StrSurveyResultTemplate.Replace("SURVEY_OPTION_PERCENTAGE]", CInt(dblPercent * 100).ToString)

Replace CInt by a proper formatting of dblPercent

Thanks a lot! It works great.

For those who needs the same thing, here's the line I change with the old line in line 401:

strSurveyResultTemplate = strSurveyResultTemplate.Replace("[SURVEY_OPTION_PERCENTAGE]", CDbl(formatNumber(dblPercent * 100, 1)).ToString)

You can format the number to display 1 or more digits after the decimal point.
