Folks,

I have a situation where I want to always add a query string parameter to a page in the menu.

So instead of having a URL like this: http://simsbeta.com/Teachers/tabid/87/Default.aspx

It needs to be this: http://simsbeta.com/Teachers/TeacherID/1/tabid/87/Default.aspx

But I don't see how to inject code into the URL in the page edit screen.  How do I do this?

Thanks!

AldenG

This is not something that is supported.  You are more than likely going to need to do something a bit funny to get this working the way you want.

1.) Create the page, and then hide it from the menu

2.) Create a new "tab", but set it to be a URL, and then provide your Url as you listed to point to the page.

This is due to the way that the Tabs are loaded into the menu as items.

By golly, that worked!  And just when you thought you knew every manner of cat skinning, you learn one more ;-)

Thanks Mitch!
