I want to drop an HTML/Text module on a page that is visible only to admins.  The page is visible to all users but I want the module to only become visible if you're an admin.  The module contains a single link to another page.

I've set the module to not inherit permissions from the page and to be viewed and edited by admins only.  Functionally it's great.  The problem is the big ugly "Visible By Administrators Only".  Now I can use CSS to make it go away but I'm wondering if there's a more graceful way to make this disappear.  I guess I should ask if there's a better way to make a single link on the home page only visible to admins as well.

Thanks very much,

BK

Would it work to make the link ib the menu? that would be a clean way  to do it imo

in Admin :: Security Roles menu item create a new role "dummy" without members.

In Page Settings grant view permission for the page to this blank role and the text and border will disappear.
