Is it possible to "split up" DotNetNuke so the administrative portion of creating pages, adding/deleting modules/moderating comments and other updates I don't want visible to the end Internet user are available through a separate Web site?  If so, can somebody please point me in the right direction?

TIA

One of the advantages (and beloved features) of DotNetNuke is its integrated editing UI. If you would like to use a dedicated edit interface, I'd suggest to look for a different CMS to use, there are numerous on the market with this UI concept.

Is there any particular need for a seperate system for admining vs using?

(BTW - I love the integrated editing. It's so much easier for me to use.)

Yes, the reason for the split is multi-tiered security.  The site(s) I'd like to use DotNetNuke for get a lot of hacking attempts.

I do want to keep the integrated editing feature.  I just want that on a site that's on our Intranet, and replicate the "run-only" site on the Internet-facing side.  I was looking into the Web Farm, but don't know if that will do it for me; perhaps it will.

I also tried deleting many of the "admin" folders, such as the HTML providers and many of the folders under the admin folder, but this has been a lot of trial and error that I was hoping somebody else has already done.

Guess I will keep hacking away at this, and see what happens.
