Hello community. I am searching to see if the issue I am having is common, or if anyone has found a solution. Here's what I am running into. I am using an iFrame to display the result of an ASP (classic ASP) page. The ASP page seems to be running reliably as it has under DNN for many iterations, and from before DNN. In this new version I saw the option to allow DNN to adjust the height based on the size of the content. formally, it was just manually set to 600. I COULD go back to that, but would like to use this new feature.

What I am getting though is reports that sometimes the iFrame sizes to just one record. I have not actually seen it. I cannot reproduce it as yet. But I have gotten screenprints of it from multiple people. I tried setting scroll bars to NO to remove that variable. But the issue continues.

The page in question is here:

DNN Version: 4.9.2
iFrame Version: 4.3.0

  • No errors are being produced
  • It happens on both IE and FF (have not tested other browsers)
  • Content of ASP file (located in portal root) always displays with full content
  • only effect seems to be if the iFrame is sized to show just the header and 1 record (aprox) or big enough to display the entire recordset returned

I'd be gratful for any insights anyone might have.
