Where does one set up flash player detection so that DNN accepts it? I tried swfobject but it seems to ignore.

Thanks!

did you enter the flash media using the richtext editor, e.g. in Text/HTML or UserDefinedTable module - or did you use Media module to insert it?

I tried entering the flash menu file with the editor first and it worked but - although it needs to be transparent. I did not see any way to set this in the editor is there a way?

I've noticed that trying to call an swfobject from within the asc file does not seem to work when I run it... Would a transparent flash menu work in this Media module?

Thanks for your help.

 Emily,

If you're placing the SWF in a pane on your page, the Text/HTML module will work fine. To call the swfobject file, you can include the script directly in the Text/HTML module. If you want to call on the swfobject multiple times on the page, you may want to put it in the skin (the ASCX file). If you're having trouble calling on the swfobject file, you may want to check the src path. Try using a relative path to the file starting with /Portals/[your portal #]/[the location of the file...].

Not sure if this answers your question - but thought I'd take a stab.
