I am having a problem accessing 5.x sites with IE browser, I am getting an error  on the following javascript statement:

var xhr=window.ActiveXObject?new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP"):new XMLHttpRequest()

When I access the same site(s) with Chrome or FireFox, no error is found.  When accessing a 4.x site, no error is issued.  I have spent quite a bit of time trying to fix this, but haven't found an answer.  Note - I have changed browser to allow Active X.

Thanks for any help on this matter.
