I don't know that this is the correct place to ask this, but as it deals with the CSS I figured it would be the a good place. I'm looking to make the portal use a default font (Helvetica) and font size for the contact pane. I've tried editting the skin css .contentpane section, but the portal doesn't seem to accept the changes I make. In the default.css I've found a place that controls the font, but it doesn't seem to control the font size. Is there somewhere I can set it so it overrides everything else?

The default fonts that are used within the Text/HTML module are defined using the Normal class, see if that works, thanks,

I'm having the exact same problem.  I want to set the default font, size, spacing, etc. for my site.  I tried the .normal setting in the site's CSS file, but didn't have any luck.

Also, I have some classes that I want to use throughout my site and I added to the same site CSS file.  Maybe I'm doing something wrong.  I would think this is the place to do it.  Maybe not.  I use the following:

<SPAN class=green_text>Test Goes Here</SPAN>

So, in any text module, it would display the text using the "green_text" class.

Actually, I take that back.  I looked in the drop-down list and saw the class in there where I can select it.  However, it's not showing up.  Does anyone have any idea why the formatting doesn't seem to be working?

I see the .normal class inside my portal.css file, but as this was my first time and I built the skin so I didn't know what all I needed in the css, so can I add the .normal classs to the skin.css or is it special to the portal.css?
