Hi, I have a strange problem: The icons on the FCK Editor are working fine genearlly, but we are currently developing several sites for schools and within the school network the icons simply aren't appearing using IE6.

Is it possible that the schools (I have tested in 5 so far - all have a similar network setup) could have something in place that would block the images? Everything else within DNN is working fine, and the admins within the school are stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

it could be a permission issue or interfering JavaScript, e.g. from a skin. Does this apply specific installations only or specific browsers only?

Its happening to all installations within a school environment only. I think it could be caused by some sort of language filter: the file name 'fck_strip.gif' might be blocked. I've renamed it and adjusted the references to it and am awaiting a response from someone within a school environment.

Every school in my area has a system installed by HP, I'm guessing its something to do with a security setting within the organisation. I'll await the feedback on from one of the schools.

Dan,

FCKEditor is an external component (www.fckeditor.net) - AFAIK the most popular OSS online HTML editor. If the problem is caused by the language filter, you need to contact HP to untighten their filter. Do they filter "sunset strip" as well?
