Hello,
Hopefully someone has come across this issue and has a solution. I modified the MinimalExtropy skin that shipped with the DNN 4.9.4 community edition.
I've been using VS 2008 to edit the skin and it looks perfect in firefox. IE 7 doesn't like one of my bg images however. Here is part of the css I have and the line that is causing the problems

The top right corner just dosn't show up in IE but looks fine in Firefox. I have an image of the problem, but not sure how to upload it. Any help is appreciated. I'll add the entire css file below the fold for reference in case there is something I am missing.

Found the solution. I had a table underneath with padding that bumped the corner png out. Moved the table and fixed the issue.
Hope that helps someone else.

Your DNN skin is built using tables and the <td> containing the logo is part of a <table> layout that also contains a pane and the date, login, and register skin controls. To get the logo to centre, you'll need to modify the .ascx file and create a section for the logo that spans 100% of the page. You'll then be able to use the logo skin object in here and centre it using CSS.
Looking at the code you should be able to remove the <td> containing the logo without any layout problems, and then an option would be to use a <div> right before the table which originally contained the logo. Give this div an ID and setup the CSS to align the text to the centre, this should work.
