A client wants each of their customers to be able to login and see content specific to their account (project status updates, pictures, files, etc.). Is this possible? if so, how? Thank you in advance, all help is greatly appreciated! -Will

You could use H2O - http://www.dnnforms.com/

You would just need to create a form that uses some of the SQL controls in H2O that pulls information from your site based on the current user. You could display information in a data grid, chart, labels, etc.

For example, if you wanted to display the current users tasks in any given project in SigmaPro, you would add a Data Grid control to a form and enter the following into the H2O Script: "Select * From SigmaProView Where AssignedId=[USR-USERID]".  That would then display all tasks across all projects where the current user is the Assigned.  You won't need to do anything else in H2O since you won't need to collect any data, you just showing data, so just check the option to show just the form.  Same with the Chart control or any other SQL enabled control in H2O, just add it to your form layout, set the SQL with parameters for the current user and your done.

Thank you for that suggestion!

What the client wants is more like a custom landing page that the user sees once they log into DNN.

If I could create one default template for all authenticated users... use that as a base. Then copy & customize each one as needed to present updated project information/ content, etc. that would be fine. I could *manually* create one page per user and give only *that* user viewing permissions... but that would take a lot of effort & upkeep.

We need each user to have their own homepage (or dashboard); in a perfect world we could use almost any DNN module on a given user's page(s) and because they are authenticated, DNN would know to show them only their information. I already looked into leveraging the form and List Module... but that would address only one aspect.

Thanks again for the suggestion; I greatly appreciate the help.

-Will
