I am responsible for a site that I'm converting to DNN. (yeah)

While creating the skin I have an issue that I need some help with.  On the menu there are 10 initial menu items.  The first two are green with a blue rollover and the remaining eight are blue with a green rollover.

How can I have two different colors on the same menu?
How can I seperate the first two menu items so I can identify them to have that different color?
If necessary how can I have two seperate menus with different items?

This is causing me more stress than I think is necessary because I'm sure there is a simple solution.  However I haven't found it yet.

You could use a background strip for your main menu tabs. But it is really not possible to do different colours  on the rollovers.

Is it possible to have two menus?  Each with different content?

You can have two menus one showing parent tabs only and other showing child tabs.

It sounds to me that you need a custom menu with your requirements.

Where do I go to see how I can develop this?
