I have set my PasswordAttemptWindow value to 2 mins.

passwordAttemptWindow="2"

but it doesn't seem to work for me.
I can see in user settings that it has updated the value to "2".
I have waited for over 5 mins with the login window open, but I don't get any timed out messages.

i read it, but found it a bit ambiguous -
was confused by this bit: "...attempts are allowed within a specified time..."

but now i see the "...minutes allowed between invalid attempts"

I wish they'd speak english instead of geekish - would be so much easier to say " x attempts then locked out for so long"
