Hello,

I'm trying to find out why I get the following error:

----------------------------------

A critical error has occurred.
That assembly does not allow partially trusted callers.

----------------------------------

Unfortunatelly, that's all the info that I get.  Most of the page loads successfully, and then a big X and the aforementioned error shows up at the top.

How can I see more information, a log, or a stack trace?

Thanks,

Charles

make sure, your web site is configured for full trust, medium trust seems not to be supported by one of the modules you are using.

Yeah, I have already configured that in the web.config.

Do you know how I can get a stack trace, or atleast something more than the error's message text?

Thanks,

-Charles

replace the installation dotnetnuke code with the source code .... trace the line of error and then recompile your own dotnetnuke assembly in which you dump out the complete error code ...this way you can analyse almost any fault of the dotnetnuke errors

Log in as admin and from the Admin menu, select Event Viewer. When it shows you will find all errors in Red. You then click on the Red bar and it opens up and shows the full stack Trace.
