I was initially playing with using DNN 5 for a new site but ran into too many problems so I exported the site as a portal template and then imported the template into a new DNN 4.9.4 site. This worked great except that I had 2 admin menus, which makes sense due to how DNN 5 handles Admin items. To fix this, I just went to each of the pages under the first Admin menu and deleted it. All the pages were blank. I was able to just delete the extra pages with no problems.

Just figured I'd give people a heads up in case someone else runs into this.

Well the templates shouldn't be backwards compatible.... surprised and happy that you had any success in this.
