Hi, I'm trying to install DotNetNuke - first time install for me. I believe I have all the permissions set. I have network service set to full on the UNC folder. I've been trying to figure this out for about 3 days now but I'm unable to. Any advice would really help.

thanks!

UNC paths are not supported, you need to install on a local drive. Thank you.

I have other installs of DotNetNuke(4.3.5) which are installed on a file share. Unfortunately, they were installed by an admin before me who had experience with this, whereas for me, this is a first install. Can you think of anything else permissions wise that could be causing these error as I am almost positive that this is all permissions related?

thanks!

From your error screen, it might caused by the file permission settings. Do you double check your root folder file permission settings. Try to set full permission to the folder and files and try your DotNetNuke installation scripts again.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

In forder for this to work, you should double check both the folder AND SHARE permissions.  Easy to overlook permissions on the share itself.  You ALSO need to have full trust of that share set on the web server.
