Hi. I am very new to dotnetnuke. I am thinking about trying it out. But I have a quick question. I have an existing (non-DNN) website that uses asp.net membership to manage it's users. I'd like to use DNN for the forums. I'd like to take the existing members I have and use them with dotnetnuke. Is this possible? or will I have to build something from the ground up?

DotNetNuke uses MS Membership component as well, i.e. if you use same machine key in web.config, you should be able to import the users from your existing app. there is, however, not an existing tool for it, you will need to create users and portalusers as well as userroles table entries on yourself.
