Chris is dead on. The iFinity provider is far better and is very customizable. Well worth the extra few minutes of config time...and it's Free!

I "third" Chris' recommendation of IFinity's FriendlyURL provider over the built-in DNN config options.  iFinity's FriendlyURL is usually the first thing I implement on any new DNN stie.  It is a stepping stone to the very nice URLMaster module (not free but has a free trial) which provides a number of further enhancements and gives precise control over individual DNN page URLs.

ifinity does not work in 5.0.1 Step 4 tells you to replace a line of code that does not exist in the web.config

To be honest, you shouldn't be using 5.0.1 in a production site anyways, so what's the big deal? :D
