 My boss would like to be able to have each date box one sees in the calendar filled with 6 or 7 short lines of text (which would be editable by others).

I took a quick look at the code, figuring I could take a look.  It seems that the code behind is not there.  For instance, in EventDay.ascx, I see the following:

CodeBehind="EventDay.ascx.vb"

However, there isn't such a vb file.  Has this been wrapped up in a dll perhaps?  Is it not possible to tweak the code?

Granted, I'm a little new to DNN, but have been able to write a few working modules.

Any insights would be appreciated.

John Held

Hi John,

Yes, the code is compiled into a dll. You will need to download the source version of the module from the DNN download page, and modify in Visual Studio. Note that version 5.0.1 is just about to be released with over 90 changes from version 4.0.2, so it may be worth waiting for that.

Cheers
Roger

 Thanks so much, Roger.  Using the new version makes a lot of sense.
