hey,

      I want to know how to make child portal look like subdomain? know what i mean? if i have a child portal like xyz and my website is abc.com, then creating a child portal name xyz will be accessible from xyz.abc.com.

can anybody point me to the solution or hint? I know its possible through the Url Rewrite but i don;t know the exact thing to do. Please help

To create a portal for a subdomain, create a PARENT portal and use subdomain as portal alias.

You might need to assign the subdomain as host header to the IIS web site (if not using catch all).
