How can I change the language of the forms buttons such as submit, cancel and the *required button without changing the language of the whole module?

Thanks

Thank you Sebastian - I know this many not be strictly a form and List Module issue but I have the feeling you will be the best person able to help me with this.

We are building a German language child portal at:
www.special.co.uk/gi

We have installed the German core language pack and changed the default language to German through Admin - Site Settings

When you go to the site and click any of the links at all the url has this inserted:
language/en-US

And on the forms the Submit and Cancel are still in English.

I'm really not sure how to change this portal to German?  Is it because it is a child portal that we are having these problems?  thanks very much for any help!

I assume,you are on DNN 5.0.

in admin :: Extensions menu item of DNN 5.0 you can enable/disable a language per site,  for the German child portal disable en-US and enable de-DE, otherwise preferred language will be used from user profile for registered users and from browser settings for Guests (if browser detection is enabled). you might also disable the language to be included in the URL, but I can't remember the location of this switch in DNN 5.0.

Thanks very much - disabling the other languages worked perfectly.
