Hi,

I made a add page containing a formview with the Insert method and using values from <asp:TextBox> and <asp:Label>. The thing is that the insert works, and the information is added to the database, but i still get this error. From the event viewer i found that is related to a parse problem(in the SQLDataController.cs -> addItem procedure), even so the information is added.

How could I get past this exception(catch it and continue as it hasn't happened or maybe there is another way).

Thank you,

Cristi.

Hi,

I found where the problem was, and I think it would be a good idea to post the resolution.

I build the Module using CodeSmith templates and the addItem procedure was build to return a int value(it was casting the SQLHelper.... to int).

Changed the procedure's type to void and problem was fixed.

Regards,

Cristi.
