There are the standard events that are linked in the data control to delete, insert, update, etc. In many cases I also want to duplicate, which would have a use case of view a row in a control and instead of hitting and edit button, you'd hit a duplicate which would populate the control with the data from that row but put it in "Insert" mode. This process would need to null any identity key, and give you the change to change any other information before performing an insert.

Any hints on the "clean" way to do that in a bound control?
