Hello All,

I am using DNN 04.09.01 for my internet website. On page Admin->Authentication, in Active Directory Settings, I had given User Name & Password of my colleague.

Now my colleague has left the company so his user name & password does not exist anymore. So I am not able to Login my site at all.

Is there any way that i can change User Name and Password through database or by any other way????

Waiting for Reply. Its Urgent.

Do you still have Admin or Host access? Why not just change the username/password in the Admin->Authentication section?

Hello Mike,

Thanks for replying...

I am the Superuser of the site. I have all the admin and host  access. But I do not login with admin or host as I have not enabled standard Dotnetnuke authentication.

I always login with my Windows authentication(i.e. using my company's username and password). But now problem is that I am not able to login my site at all, I get the message 'Login Failed, remember that Passwords are case sensitive'. So I cannot change the username and password by going in the 'Admin->Authentication'. Also I cannot enable standard Dotnetnuke authentication.

Regards,

Sushant

Look in the ModuleSettings table in your database and look for a SettingName called DNN_Enabled (it probably has a value of False). Set it to True and you'll be able to log in with the original Host or Admin account that you originally used to setup the site.
