 Hi Dotnetnuke!

I am experiencing a page refresh on postback when page as been inactive for only 1or 2 minutes.

e.g. If I have been looking at at page in Design mode and I click the Edit mode ( radio option in control panel) the page just refreshes and I have to click the radio option again.

Also, I find if I am submitting content using the FCKeditor, if I take too long before I submit, it empties the form and starts again.

Whats happening to me? Any Ideas?

Many thanks.

IIS session timeout is set to 20 mins by default. besides there is cockie timeout in webconfig, which should be set to 60 mins at least. To specify "remember me" duration for username nad password, set the value in minutes to persistent cookie timeout.

Besides I strongly suggest to upgrade to DNN 4.9.4 due to security issues.

Hi Sebastian, - thanks for your reply.

I'm familiar with the 20 minute server timeout setting

The site does not have a problem remembering me,  I had set the remember me as follow

 <forms name=".DOTNETNUKE" protection="All" timeout="1440" cookieless="UseCookies" />

I have changed the following though as a test:

 <add key="PersistentCookieTimeout" value="0" /> to have a value of 60, but I am not sure what this is.
