I am curious, why is Shaun's photo on every DNN Wrox book? Is this a requirement by Wrox for any series editor or a marketing thing to sell more books?

I have seen tens of Wrox books and I have only noticed this with DNN books from them.

PS: No desrespect to Shaun. It's merely an observation.

PS2: I like the new design of Wrox book. I think the photos were too big and vin your face in the older style. The new style is calmer and more mellow.

I assume he likes to look at himself..  the worst part is he uses the same photo in books, websites, everywhere..  and it's probably 5 to 10 years old.   Weird.

That photo was actually a running joke at Openforce with some of us last year.  Finally getting to meet the man behind the infamous headshot.  He really should update it.

From what I've seen, it's been a (good-natured) running joke in a number of places the last few years.

According to Mitchel Sellers, Shaun's headshot appears on all the "Professional DotNetNuke blah-blah-blah" books because he is the series editor.  Mitchel was actually responding to a little joke I made last February about....Shaun's ever-present headshot...  :)

Oh, and Mitchel's book (the actual subject of the linked thread) is a great resource for those learning DNN module programming, BTW...
