I haven't touched several of the included modules and I wanted to get some information about their capabilities. I scoured dotnetnuke.com and was dismayed because I couldn't find the basic information that any new user would need. The products link and all its sublinks say nothing about the modules.

The only place is the links from the modules list from the main DOWNLOAD link. The download link shouldn't be where people find information about products on a website. Even when I clicked on a module there, all I get are blog entries. No basic information about what I module does.

Also the download page doesn't indicate what versions of the modules are in DNN download. There's a list of modules and their version numbers but there's no easy way to find out if someone needs to upgrade by downloading a module separately or if a listed module is the same version as the one already included in the DNN download.

There are just too many site usability issues with dotnetnuke.com.

Every last feature and function of all included modules etc is detailed here http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Support/Help/tabid/787/Default.aspx.  The Help for 5.1 is completed and about to be published.

Those 11 pages are very skimpy and there's nothing about the modules themselves. I click on the 'read more' links and there are fewer than 10 lines in each!

There needs to be information about the features of each module and how to set them up.

Salama,

each project has it's microsite with descriptions, blog, forum, all versions and other downloads. The list has carefully been hidden on the left hand side of the Forge page - I would have loved it being presented more prominently, but obviously this doesn't meet the marketing requirements of DotNetNuke Corp.

Cheers from Germany,
