Hi guys,

My site was working great last night (www.cambioclimatico.gob.do/eng) and suddently is displaying this error. I haven't touched this web.config file in months so i don't understand what's going on.

Error message------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Server Error in '/' Application.

Configuration Error

Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level.  This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

you either placed a web.config file in a sub folder orr your host changed configuration.

Actually, the original site was in root/eng (for english) and im doing the spanish version in root/esp. Is that a problem? what is the best way to do this biligual website?

you shouldn't use differnent installations per language

there are differnent options to implement multilingual portals, check out localization forum and specifiy your needs (do portals have same content or are they independent, do you plan to create language based communities?)

 My purpose is to have one site with to different versions. One in spanish, another in english with the same info, different language.

How can I accomplish that without two installations?

The only thing about localization I know is that it's used to change language on specific dnn site captions like "log in, etc"
