Hi. I’m quite new to dotnetnuke.

I was assigned to create an intranet portal by using dotnetnuke. I’ve created links of all my company’s departments and each links are administered by each department’s admin.

However, according to the company’s proposal, once each department admins create and execute their contents in their respective pages, their contents cannot be displayed until they get an approval from the host. Once they’re approved by the host, only then the contents can be displayed.

This workflow sounds more like content verification system for me. My big question is, does dotnetnuke have content verification system module? If no, are there any other ways to create such system in dotnetnuke? Any recommended tutorial sites?

There are a number of third party modules that can handle this type of publishing, depending on what you need.  Something like Ventrian NewsArticles, Engage Publish or the like all can work.

There is also some functionality built into DNN 5.1 PE that covers the Content Approval flow, however, I've never seen PE so I don't know specifics.
