Hi Folks,

Is it possible to change skins and/or containers within the DNN framework programmatically based on say a database column? I am guessing you would have to mess with the page skin and page container properties on the advanced settings section of the page management function. Let me rephrase that. Is it relatively easy to do or would it take major surgery.

Thanks,
G.M.

It's not impossible, you just need to add some serverside logic into the skin. I can provide some sample code if you need it...

Here is a previous thread topic where I answered how one could adjust the breadcrumbs skinobject for only the homepage (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/306570/scope/posts/Default.aspx)

If you still need the code to change skins, I can provide that as well. It might just take a bit to find which skin I wrote for which project that contains that gem...
