how can I maintain a version for dnn module?

e.g.  install module and give it to version1

and now with more change in module it will be version2

and after installing verison2 there will be no need to uninstall version1

such type of funtionality.

please give your valuable suggestion

you specify the version number in source code and manifest for your module  and provide incremental sql scripts to upgrade the database structure.
