Hi everyone,

When we install a custom module in dotnetnuke we need to specify the version of the module and the version of the DataProvider, if we want to reinstall the same module, DotNetNuke check if the module is a later version, if the version of DataProvider is previous that already install it doesn´t run the dataprovider.

So my question is if I need to get back a custom module, how can I do it? For example, if i install the version 1.1.0 but this version has an error and i need to get back for the version 1.0.0 that is correct, how can i do it?

Thanks for your help!!!!

Hopefully you followed best practices and backed up the file system and the database. If so, you can just roll those backups out and you are good. If you didn't back them up, it will depend on what changes you made to the dataprovider. You will have to manually undo any changes to the database and deploy the files that you need out there. I would make sure you do back it up when you start, and pull it down locally to go back to the previous version making sure you note the steps required to get there.
