Hello Scott,

I want to create two instance of DNN with same DB.
I have created one instance with "ObjectQualifier" let say CC1, the site is set well.

But when I create one more instance with "ObjectQualifier" let say CC2 then the site is not set.
For your information, I have set the "ObjectQualifier" in "web.config" file before I deploy the site.

Please help me out where I am missing.

Thanks in advance,

What, specifically, does "not set" mean?  Errors, logs, anything to help?

Jeff

Hello Jeff,

First of all thank you ! for repling me. Here is the whole steps I did to set up two site with one DB.

I have install a DNN (04.09.04) instance.Before I install it I made one change in web.config file ( set objectQualifier="cc1").

Then I install the site and the instance set well.

Now I wanted to create one more instance by using the DB I created for the above instance so I made one change in web.config file (set objectQualifier="cc2") before I install it.
Then I got a error message while I installing the instance.

Please let me know if you need any more information for the same.

Thanks,
