Does anybody have a extension for LDAP Authentication for 5.x? I am looking into 4.x but doesn't look like it will work. I cannot use AD as our system (Novell) doesn't support it very well.

Or does anybody have a good way to authenticate against Novell's e-directory using ldap?

LDAP authentication is desperately needed to really help DNN integrate and make inroads with those who refuse to use DNN because of its ASP underpinnings. When you consider competing CMS tools like Joomla, Drupal, etc… they all offer an easy LDAP authentication to role synchronization. This immediately makes it a choice solution.

Does anyone have any advice on any DNN Third party module that would do this or some configuration secret to make DNN natively authenticate off of a LDAP server.

This would really be a big ROI for pushing forward DNN.
